Wendy Little Schieke is the founder of the Law Office of Wendy Little Schieke, LLC, an elder law and estate planning practice.  Whether issues relate to Medicaid crisis planning, estate planning and asset preservation, or estate administration, Wendy remains a calming presence with clients and their families.  She closely listens to concerns, analyzes issues, and provides professional guidance that meets or exceeds client goals.  Although Wendy has always had profound empathy for the caregiver’s role, Wendy’s personal experience as a caregiver strengthened this understanding and compassion.

Licensed to practice in Maryland and Montana, Wendy was awarded her Juris Doctor as well as her Certificate in Estate Planning from the University of Baltimore School of Law.  Wendy received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Chestnut Hill College.  Wendy is an active member of the Maryland State Bar Association, including serving as a Member of the Elder Law and Disability Rights Section Council.

Prior to making Maryland her home, Wendy accompanied her husband, Rick, throughout his twenty-year Marine Corps career.  As a military spouse, she learned from a very young age that thought and planning must be given to the unexpected.  Answers to the unexpected often required creativity and flexibility.  This skill set results in Wendy excelling in her elder law and estate planning practice as answers for clients often fall outside well-known boundaries.
